At the beginning of human history, God taught Adam about a relationship of obedience with Him by inviting him to co-labour with Him and the importance of loyalty. God also taught Adam about having a right relationship with other people through love, unity and service.

Introduction to Genesis

Genesis tells the story of how God created the world and dealt with all humanity until He initiated a personal relationship with their forefather Abraham. Genesis revealed to them the eternal promises God made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—promises which extended to ALL PEOPLES of the earth.

A Heart of Thanksgiving

As we celebrate Chinese New Year, it is a time of joy, reunion, and new beginnings, yet it can also bring worries about the future. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us that instead of being overwhelmed by anxiety, we are called to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving. When we do, His peace—one that surpasses all understanding—will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, giving us true hope for the year ahead.
